CBAM.Pro is open: one system for CBAM, built for EU importers

Most importers run CBAM from a shared spreadsheet and a folder of PDFs. CBAM.Pro replaces both with one system. It holds your imports, suppliers and emission values in a database, calculates the certificates for you, and shows a calendar of what you owe and when. The product is finished, and it opens today.
Why a spreadsheet stops working
CBAM data does not arrive as tidy data. It arrives as customs declarations, supplier invoices and emissions reports, in different formats and often in different languages. Each import then needs the same chain of steps:
- the CN codeCN codeCombined Nomenclature 8-digit product classification; CBAM coverage defined per CN code in Reg. 956 Annex I; chapter-level entries (e.g. "72") cover all codes beneath., the country of origin and the net mass;
- the EU default value for that combination;
- the deduction for free allocation;
- the number of certificates that results;
- the price of the period in which the goods cleared.
One wrong CN code changes the default value. One missing customs date hides a line from the total. A spreadsheet does not tell you when either happens. An accounting system does, so we built CBAM.Pro as one.

Documents in, import lines out
- Files from your customs software load as they are. An Excel or CSV export becomes one import line per declaration line.
- Customs declarations and invoices as PDFs are read for you. CBAM.Pro uses the PDF's own text wherever it exists, so it copies a value and never guesses one. Only a scanned page goes through character recognition. No generative model is involved.
- A line that is incomplete says what is missing and stays out of your total until it is complete. Nothing is filled in silently.
CBAM.Pro calculates every line for you
For every import line, CBAM.Pro takes the EU default value for the goods and their country of origin. It deducts the free-allocation benchmark. It then prices the resulting certificates at the price of the quarter. When you change a CN code or a quantity, CBAM.Pro recalculates every figure that depends on it. Each line keeps a frozen record of the values used in its calculation. A figure that you showed a finance director in October therefore still reconciles in March.
Today's figures use the EU default values. These apply until a supplier's installation has verified actual data. A value that your supplier declares stays provisional. It changes your certificate cost only after an accredited verifierVerifierAccredited independent third party confirming the SEE is free of material misstatement; any EU or third-country legal person; only values in a verification report count for actuals. Importers receiving "verification reports" from third part has confirmed it.
One database for suppliers, goods and sources
Suppliers, their factories and the products they deliver sit in one register. Every emissions figure records where it came from. When a supplier name is written differently on two invoices, CBAM.Pro matches it once. Every later import with that spelling is then linked automatically. When a verifier confirms a supplier's data, you change one record and the affected lines follow.
A payment calendar, not a guess
The calendar turns the lines into money and dates. It shows the certificate cost by quarter. It breaks the cost down by country of origin, supplier, HS heading or factory. It also lists the dates that matter: certificates for 2026 imports go on sale on 1 February 2027, and you surrender them by 30 September 2027.
From 2027 imports, your account must hold certificates for at least half of the year's imports so far at each quarter end. This is counted on default values without the mark-up. The calendar shows these checkpoints too. It exports to PDF or a spreadsheet.
Our team supports you
CBAM.Pro comes with the team behind it. We help with the reporting. We check your import lines, chase supplier data, review the calculation and prepare the figures that your declaration needs. For companies that work with us on an assessment, the workspace also holds its progress, the questions and answers, and a shared roadmap. Each colleague sees what the job needs, as management, finance, logistics or billing.
What to do
CBAM.Pro opens first to the companies that we already work with. If you import CBAM goods into the EU and want to see CBAM.Pro with your own import data, write to us at cbam.pro.
Stuck on this in your own import data? Write to us and we will look at it with you.
